Request a withdrawal
Betfair shows the methods that can receive a withdrawal in the account’s Withdraw area. A method can be available for a deposit without being available for a withdrawal. The screen also shows whether a withdrawal button is active for the chosen route, so check that state before submitting the amount.

Published Ireland timing
Withdrawal routes
| Method | Ireland information | Before you rely on it |
|---|---|---|
| Pay by Bank | Instant withdrawal is listed for Revolut; other Irish banks are typically 2–6 hours | The first Pay by Bank deposit can lead to a wait of up to 24 hours |
| Visa Fast Funds | Most successful payments arrive in seconds; some take up to two hours | Eligible Visa Debit or prepaid card and issuer support required |
| Other debit-card withdrawals | Betfair’s help gives a 2–5 working-day standard window | Check the timing shown for the card and account in the cashier |
| Apple Pay | A withdrawal can go to a card previously used for an Apple Pay deposit | The eligible card must be shown for this account |
These time windows describe different routes and should not be merged into one payout promise. For example, Fast Funds and a standard card withdrawal have separate conditions. Betfair also says withdrawal methods can vary and the account screen tells you how long the selected payment should take to reach the bank.
Keep deposits and payouts linked
Betfair’s account terms say withdrawals are generally remitted to the financial or bank account from which funds came. The terms also describe paying back each method’s deposited amount before withdrawing additional funds through another method. If the account screen asks for a particular destination, follow that route or use Betfair Help to understand the account-specific message.
